Buick

Started in 1903 by Scottish industrialist David Dunbar Buick, the horseless carriage company bearing his name featured an ingenious overhead-valve engine, something of a rarity then. By 1908, Buick Motor Company was very attractive, and as such, William C. Durant bought the company to help form General Motors.

By the late 1920's, the Buick cars were reliable, conservative, and yet stylish. New styling for Buick during the 1930's was somewhat ahead of its time, marking the way for cars of the 1940's. During the 1940's Buick became the number two seller of the General Motors family, following Chevrolet. Chief designer Harley Earl created all new looks for the 1942 year, looks that wouldn't surface until after World War II.

During the late 1980's, Buick offered some of the most futuristic looking vehicles of the time with the Reatta, Skyhawk, and Riviera, featuring lots of electronics and glass areas. During the early 1990's, Buick brought back the name Roadmaster as its flagship make, featuring V8 power, and rear-drive.
Bob Lutz is now trying to inject some spirit into the ailing brand. First sign is the nice Vélite concept car, introduced at the 2004 New York Autoshow.

Buick Century Seat Covers

With a JD Power ranking of 63 PP100, Buick Century ranks highest in the premium midsize car segment and is among the top four cars in the industry in initial quality. Exceeding the average by 47%, Century initial quality also exceeds that of more than 23 models in the segment including the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Ford Taurus, and Mercury Sable. Century also excels in long-term dependability, ranking among the industry’s top 10 most dependable cars. With dependability that is 40% better than industry average, Century ranks second in the premium midsize car segment. In fact, the long-term dependability of the average 3-year-old Century (161 PP100) exceeds the initial quality of some models when new.

Buick LaCrosse Seat Covers

Don't be surprised when your LaCrosse excites curiosity.  Simply remain calm and know you've arrived in style.  Its design has a distinctly European flavor, with standard features like an elliptical front grille, chrome door handles and accents, and tail lamps with Spider Optics - that leave behind a jewel-like glimmer.  So whether you're coming or going, you're sure to get lots of looks.

The LaCrosse was built for appreciation on the outside, yes but it really shines on the inside.  With wood tone accetns and chrome touches, one's snese of luxury gets an upgrade, while the super tight fitting doors, windows and interior elements make gaps virtually non-existent.  Add in available Nuance leather with French stitching, and it's easy to see why the LaCrosse's beauty isn't just skin deep.  Add a set of seat covers to protect and enhance the LaCrosse's natural beauty in style.

Buick LeSabre Seat Covers

Named one of "The 10 Best Engines of the 20th Century" by Ward's AutoWorld magazine, LeSabre's standard 3.8 liter 3800 Series II V6 engine sets the benchmark for pushrod-actuated, overhead valve V6 engines.

Generating 205-hp and 230 lb-ft of torque, the 3800 Series II V6 delivers impressive power and response while excelling in smoothness and reliability. Featuring an overhead valve design that assures ample low rpm power and torque, and an advanced starter solenoid that virtually eliminates the possibility of icing during sub-freezing operation, the 3800 Series II offers LeSabre drivers the confidence of outstanding performance.

Buick Park Avenue Seat Covers

For 2003, Buick offers the new supercharged Park Avenue Ultra, which reaches back into a rich design heritage to present a modern interpretation of a classic Buick for the division's centennial year.

If Park Avenue is not properly responding to steering input when a driver turns on slippery surfaces or suddenly counter steers, StabiliTrak reacts by modulating individual front brakes and/or reducing power to help the driver maintain control.

Data from StabiliTrak's sensors is tracked, evaluated and acted upon to help you stay on your intended course. Using yaw sensors, lateral accelerometers, steering-wheel angle sensors, and wheel-speed sensors, StabiliTrak is constantly comparing the actual path the vehicle is taking with the path in which the driver is steering. If StabiliTrak senses that the vehicle is not properly responding to steering input, it modulates individual front brakes or reduces power (or both) to help the driver maintain control and continue on course.

Buick Rainier Seat Covers

A masterwork of modern engineering, Rainier's available 5300 V8 engine features cast aluminum components that save weight while helping to provide the strength to deliver 300 horsepower and the ability to tow up to 6700 lbs (when equipped with 2wd/3/73 axle). Maximum trailer ratings are calculated assuming a properly equipped base vehicle plus driver. See owner’s manual for details.

Rainier's QuietTuning uses an acoustic laminate windshield, laminated front side-door glass, special quiet-tread tires, and 26 strategically-positioned acoustic absorbers and seals to help prevent exterior noise from reaching the cabin. The result is an uncommonly quiet vehicle.

Buick Rendezvous Seat Covers

Rendezvous' rear suspension is fully independent to help reduce road noise and smooth the ride. Premium monotube shock absorbers provide excellent wheel control and road isolation. In addition, an automatic rear-level control system (included in the available trailering package) utilizes airbladders around each rear shock absorber to help improve ride and handling while trailering or carrying loads.

Six different available seating configurations give Rendezvous the flexibility to comfortably transport up to seven adults or 108 cubic feet of cargo.

—Two front bucket seats

—Removable 2nd row fold/flip 50/50 split bench for three passengers

—Available 2nd row captains chairs

—Available 3rd row bench seat for 2 passengers

—Large cargo carrying area of 108 cubic feet in the rear (cargo and weight capacity limited by weight and distribution)
